Basking in the afterglow of the #SweetSuite13 party at BlogHer

It’s been a few weeks since I attended the BlogHer conference in Chicago, but I’m still rockin’ that BlogHer afterglow.

It’s not only that I haven’t yet stopped smiling from meeting Queen Latifah, but it’s also because of a pretty wicked party I attended while there. Scott’s Miracle-Gro gives me a little more than a green thumb

There’s a green little monster that’s come into our family. It all started with Miracle-Gro’s Premium Plants, which has sponsored this post.

Miracle-Gro reached out to me a couple months ago about hosting a giveaway and as part, I went and picked up their new product called Premium Plants. The kids were ecstatic to pick out the flowers, particularly my oldest, Logan. As I’ve said before, he loves to plant things.

Reading my piece at BlogHer13’s VOTY keynote

Oh what a night. It’s long been most people’s favorite part of the BlogHer conference: Voices of the Year.

As I’ve mentioned before, I was one of the VOTY winners who was chosen to read during the evening’s keynote. To add icing on the cake, Queen Latifah was the host of the event.
