Basking in the afterglow of the #SweetSuite13 party at BlogHer

It’s been a few weeks since I attended the BlogHer conference in Chicago, but I’m still rockin’ that BlogHer afterglow.

It’s not only that I haven’t yet stopped smiling from meeting Queen Latifah, but it’s also because of a pretty wicked party I attended while there. It was #SweetSuite13 and they really pulled out all the stops. It was billed as “The Biggest Night of Play” and cohosted by Joey Fortman from www.RealMomMedia.com and Charlene DeLoach from www.CharleneChronicles.com. Needless to say, … Read more ...

Reading my piece at BlogHer13’s VOTY keynote

Oh what a night. It’s long been most people’s favorite part of the BlogHer conference: Voices of the Year.

Coming Back To Chicago: It’s Time for #BlogHer13

BlogHer, the biggest blogging conference for women is this week in Chicago and I’m going. I’m so stoked because I’ve never been before, but have always heard how it’s the blogging conference of all conferences.

I would often read about the great swag bloggers get or the hilarious antics of moms who had too much to drink while wearing too high of heels. But the conference not just fun and games. BlogHer is a multimedia powerhouse. The sessions are varied and include panels for … Read more ...

BlogHer announces Voices of The Year for 2013

I’ve got big news. No not pregnant. But it’s equally miraculous.

A couple months ago I submitted some of my blog posts for BlogHer’s Voices of The Year. For my friends who aren’t really into blogging, but thankfully read mine, BlogHer is the largest community of women bloggers. It’s got an audience of 92 million each month.

Anyway, each year a committee selects posts to be recognized as one of the Voices of The Year and a handful the honoreees read their post at the … Read more ...
