Wordless Wednesdays: Meet Back Fence PDX
My plans to tell you about Portland’s crazy popular storytelling event called Back Fence PDX went awry when a local politician spoke candidly about punching a girl in college. However, I wanted to a give shout out to the fantasticalness that is Back Fence.
Its shows started in 2008 and its very similar to The Moth with live-story telling along a common theme. This is a shot of co-host, hilarious girl, poet extraordinaire Mindy Nettifee; the middle chic is the amazing B. Frayn Masters, the host and executive producer of Back Fence who crazily creative, a writer, performer and my personal fave: lover of dance. The third is Nicholas Kessler, actor (recognize him from Portlandia?) teacher and user of lamb skin condoms.
So that’s my Wordless Wednesday offering on a Thursday. But there’s words with this post, so maybe it’s OK? … Yes, it’s been that kind of week.
