I’m writing this post as a member of the Netflix Stream Team and have been compensated for it, but as always, all opinions are my own.
One of my guilty pleasures is Pretty Little Liars. There’s been enough times where I’ve started watching it alone and my eldest comes along for a snuggle and bam! my 7 year old is watching all sagas involving A.
This has happened enough times that now Logan loves Pretty Little Liars. No it’s not really appropriate viewing for a typical 7 year old, but let’s just add that to my many parenting “mistakes.” I love watching it with him, chatting it up about who did what to whom and when.
We watch it on Netflix and have been waiting, waiting, waiting for Season 5. I tried to catch up on the show via our OnDemand service, but Comcast wanted an astronomical amount to watch the whole season and I couldn’t ever catch all of the episodes on DVR. So I patiently waited for Netflix to work its magic.
Each month, as a member of Netflix’s Stream Team, I get a list of the new releases, whether they’re the latest seasons or a new Netflix original.
But today, I got an email from one of my Netflix peeps and he told me that Pretty Little Liars’ Season 5 release date has been moved up! Instead of being available on June 10, I’ll be able to stream it tomorrow, June 2.
Just a few days ago, Logan and I were the only ones still awake and he asked if he could watch a show with me. His first choice was Pretty Little Liars, but I had to say no because we’d already streamed all that was available. We decided to watch Jurassic Park. Again.
Tonight when I told him Season 5 was on its way, he was shocked. I’m already looking forward to tomorrow, after our homework is done and our dinner plates are cleared, it’ll be time to catch up with Aria, Spencer, Emily, Hanna and the rest of the crew.
