I’m a Cover Girl! That’s the first, and probably the last time I’ve ever written that. But it’s true! I’ll even say it again: I’m a Cover Girl!

Not the easy, breezy, beautiful kind. I’m the Rebellious kind. My good friend Karen launched her new publication, Rebellious Magazine for Women. It’s a pretty awesome Chicago-based online lifestyle mag that’s “smart, funny, inspiring, empowering, smart-ass and yes, Rebellious!”

I’m so proud of Karen and her endeavor, which has all the ingredients for success. It’s innovative, intelligent and provocative. Plus, being a true Chicagoan, she knows people. I always say Karen is like the Kevin Bacon of Chicago. If you don’t know her, you know someone who does or you at least know someone, who knows someone who knows someone who does.

So while this is Karen’s baby, she’s got a lot of support from some seriously fantastic women in the Second City. And Karen chose today, International Women’s Day, to launch her fabulous magazine.
