The Chicago area has had one of its stormiest summers. Here’s my neighborhood after a recent thunderstorm.

We used to have a giant pine tree in the back yard that was taller than our house, it was right up close to the house. We had it removed for that very reason. I do miss the squirrels, though 🙁
Hey! I’ve got some squirrels I could send you. They wouldn’t even mind that you didn’t have a tree. We’ve got two big trees near our pad and I get a little nervous when the winds a’blowin. It’s been such a stormy summer, I’m almost (and I’m stressing the almost because I love summer) looking forward to fall.
